Machine has had operators name filrd off so not sure where this was used, it looks like a pre war machine but has a large dial from 1d to 11d. Also has a locking catch for the shilling lever.

looks very similar to one I've just acquired (P 245) which has also had the operator name removed, but the machine number / type and ticket print match Southdown - see picture at http://www.yorkshireteabags.co.uk/SouthdownP451.jpg

Southdown bought the 'TIM Major' (pre-war long range TIM) in 1939/40.
